Little Lulu is the comic strip that the cartoonist named Marge created. The main character, Lulu Moppet, is the star of the show. Lulu made her debut as the flower girl, but she disrupted the aisle with Banana Peels, making everyone slip. Lulu is the kind girl, but tends to be rambunctious. This has been toned down in The Little Lulu Show, which is based off the strip.

- Tubby is Lulu's best friend and can be a thorn in her side, though he can be a big help when she needs his aid.
- Gertie Green Bean is a minor character in the strip. Gertie lives in a trailer in a park with her family. She and Wilbur get into fights since their first encounter.
- Wilbur Van Snobbe is a character who takes on a semi-antagonistic role. He is the rich kid, and he knows it, but sometimes, Wilbur lets his own family's nobility entitle him to act like a snob. Wilbur is Gertie Green Bean's rival and one of Gloria's best friends.
- Gloria Goode Darling is even girlier than the other girls are and her best friend Wilbur is the only person who she believes is an equal. She was enraged by his absence in the episode Mimibur (From The Little Lulu Show) in one instance. Whether she and Gertie Green-bean are friends, but, despite being one of his friends, Gloria and Wilbur, one time being after his act of joining The Fellers in Snowball War (episode).
- Alvin Jones is a minor antagonist, but he is not as bad as the true villains are. His personality is similar to a bratty person. Lulu often babysits Alvin and tries to calm his attitude by telling him stories. His height is half Lulu's. He has orange hair and wears a white shirt and blue dungarees.
